How are Diet Protein Pancakes Made?

With all our "functional foods" we often get asked the same question. How do you make science-supported foods taste so good? Our reply each time is that each one is made with a combination of nutritional science and culinary wizardry. But in all seriousness, way back in 2012 when THE PROTEIN WORKS™ launched we became known for taking people's favourite foods and improving them with nutritional research. Our Diet Protein Pancakes are living proof of this. Previously considered a treat that many people would have once in a while, it's now possible to include these as a staple food in your diet. The truth is there's no set way to make a TPW™ Diet Protein Pancake. Ingredients

Portionsstørrelse: 40 g portion.

For at lave den perfekte TPW™ proteinpandekage skal du blot følge denne opskrift:

  • Tilsæt 40 g (en stor grå skefuld) til 80-100 ml mælk eller vand, afhængig af hvor tynd du vil have pandekagen. Mindre væske giver en tykkere pandekage i amerikansk stil. Mere væske giver en tyndere, crepe-agtig, pandekage.
  • Bland let med en gaffel.
  • Lad dejen hvile i 1-2 minutter.
  • Opvarm forsigtigt en smule olie i en slip let-pande over moderat varme (vi anbefaler at bruge TPW™ kokosolie)
  • Når panden er varm skal du hælde 2 spiseskefulde dej på panden og gentage dette for at danne 3 runde pandekager på panden.
  • Steg FORSIGTIGT i halvandet minut, indtil pandekagen begynder at hæve op, og vend den derefter og steg endnu et minut på den anden side, indtil den er jævnt gylden på begge sider.
  • Tag den varme pandekage af panden, og spis den med det samme med dit foretrukne tilbehør.

Hvorfor ikke pifte din pandekage op?

Her er nogle søde forslag til, hvordan du kan give din TPW™ proteinpandekage et pift:

  • Slut af med et generøst skud TPW™ Zero Syrups.
  • Bland lidt kanel i dejen, før den steges.
  • Tilsæt chokoladestykker til dejen for at få en chokoladepandekage med smeltende chokoladestykker.
  • Tilsæt nogle hakkede TPW™ naturlige mandler for at få en nøddeagtig smag og tekstur.
  • Tilsæt nogle friske blåbær til dejen for at få en frisk frugtsmag.
  • Brug mandelmælk i dejen i stedet for almindelig mælk.
